  1. Whover wins will be very short term as they all appear to have problems with the pecuniary interests register.

    • Manison thinks that jobs are created by her chanting “jobs, jobs, jobs” Failed at every portfolio she has held. The big one was treasury. Now she is going for broke! Oops! SORRY, they are already broke!

  2. Manison looked like the cat that swallowed the cream as Fyles was giving her “I’m accountable” speech (Ha!). Let me remind you that Manison didn’t know what a Kirribilli Agreement was when asked if she and Gunner had such an agreement regarding his retirement.

  3. Today I am proud to be a supporter of NT Independent. Thanks and congrats for your role in bringing down this corrupt figure head.

My only regret is that it was the shares, and not the double agent advisor, that was her undoing.

Serious questions remain about just what undue influence Gerard Richardson had over cabinet. Solidarity protects cabinet members from legal liability, but do to it taints all with moral culpability. The only way labor can clear the slate is to formally invalidate any suspect decisions.

  4. Goodbye Natasha. Next contestant. Let’s see if Labor can really plumb the depths of criminal stupidity and incompetence. Gunner and Fyles have set the bar very low so let’s see what Nicole Manison can do between now and next August. 🤨

  5. The only Territorians Fyles put first were the juvenile criminals. She has treated everyone else like fools, the lies that flow from her mouth have been breathtaking to say the least. The whole labor party is rotten to the core. You would have thought that Finnochiaro and the CLP would have been calling them to account each and every day, but instead we have heard nothing. With an election due next year, the CLP has had many opportunities to push their credentials, but again NOTHING. The new boss of the CLP – Shane Stone has his work cut out. The message is not getting out, and lots of conservatives are bewildered.

  6. We just keep going through these Chief Minister Robots. I can’t remember a decent CM since the late 90s or early 20s. Where can we find a person of integrity, let alone an entire political party? A lack of ‘life experience’ is so obvious in both parties. Get Gerry to come back and entice Henry Gray to run for education minister. Let the wise, older independent politicians control our parliament including the existing sitting members. Then pass a bill that requires you to meet certain experience criteria before you are eligible to run for pre-selection.
There is no strength, integrity, experience nor wisdom in either of our major parties (with a couple exceptions). The people who decide our futures should be of an age where they have lived the consequences of bad political decisions. Not a bunch of basically qualified, young, inexperienced, mostly lowly qualified, individuals who have already proven to be totally incompetent at adressing the issues facing the NT.
The passing of Nat is not a win, the ones putting their hands up are part of the disastrous ALP that came to power due to a massive ‘green’ shift.
If you voted for these people you should take a long, hard look at yourself.

    • All Gerry did in a lifetime in politics was to always be available with a contrary view for the media and do a deal that cost the rural area a swimming pool.
