The CLP government has revealed the new Northern Suburbs Youth Hub will be located at the Leanyer Waterpark Recreation Precinct, rather than at the previous site of the old Casuarina Fire Station on Rowling St, which had been selected by the former Labor government two years ago.
The new location was selected because it has established public transport connections ensuring that the Youth Hub is easily reachable for young people and families throughout Darwin’s northern suburbs, Minister for Youth Jinson Charls said.
Jinson spoke about this at Probus this morning, and the news was well-received. Something positive at last.
