Electric scooter and bike hire company Beam has commenced operations in Darwin, replacing Neuron Mobility, and the company said it will have employees on the street in high traffic areas monitoring the safety of people’s riding with a three-strike policy for those caught riding dangerously or breaking the law.

The company recently signed a deal with Darwin Council and Beam Darwin regional operations manager Andrew Dodd said his company had brought in its latest model Saturn 5 electric scooters to the city, deploying a total of 750 purple electric scooters, seated scooters, and bikes.
