Meet Steve Arrigo: ‘A true Darwin local’

Steve campaigning in Darwin

G’Day, I’m Steve Arrigo and I’m a Northern Territory candidate for the Federal Senate. I want to take a very clear message to Canberra: the Northern Territory has had enough of being underestimated.

As a Federal Senator representing the NT, I would get to vote on every Bill that is put through the Senate and will not vote for anything that does not support or benefit Territorians.

I will challenge the current, globalist, World Economic Forum agenda that by 2030 we “will own nothing and be happy”.

I intend to bring the power back to the people, by creating more industry-based commerce, and introducing cheaper, more reliable ‘clean energy’.

I will also be pushing for tax reform, including a reduction of income taxes, and ending wasteful government spending. The Australian Government has abandoned the Constitution in so many ways. The control that our governments are wielding is undemocratic and frightening. Australia returning to the Constitution, and greater transparency, is the first step in providing a better future for all of us.

Under the Great Australia Party, every Australian would have more money in their pockets. We support taxation reform. We believe Australians are unnecessarily paying income tax. Without the burden of income tax, taxpayers would have an average increase of about $250 per week or $13,000 per year. The Federal Government receives more than enough revenue through GST as well as a multitude of indirect taxes and duties.

Most importantly of all, I will listen to the concerns of Territorians, and act on them.

I am not a career politician. I’m not in it for myself; I’m in it for you!

I never understood how a government employee makes the transition to politics. In my opinion, to run a country, you need to have run your own business.

A businessman needs to do what’s right for their people: both their employees and patrons. A business owner needs to have a balance sheet. This balance sheet in turn, will direct them as to what needs to be addressed towards the successful running of their business.

Australia is apparently approaching a trillion dollars of net debt. Just digest that. A trillion dollars in debt. So how can we continue to live in abundance when the current government has signed away our livelihood, and your child’s livelihood? Which generation will pull us out of this debt if we continue to be dictated by the current major two parties? It certainly won’t happen in my lifetime if we stick with the status quo.

VOTE the MAJORS OUT !!

Vote 1 Steve Arrigo – a true Territorian.

Steve Arrigo is the Senate Candidate for the Great Australian Party.
