Labor NT Senator Malarndirri McCarthy will be sworn in today as the Indigenous Australians Minister following a Cabinet reshuffle by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Sunday, that will also see Member for Solomon Luke Gosling appointed as “special envoy” for Defence, Veterans’ Affairs and Northern Australia.
The Cabinet reshuffle follows last week’s announced retirement of outgoing Indigenous Australians minister Linda Burney and Skills and Training minister Brendan O’Connor.

So the senator for Sydney who failed as an assistant minister has been promoted when Marion Scymgour would have been a much better pick
Scrymgour speaks out against the Labor party line too often and too loud. She had no chance.
Hopefully we shuffle the lot of the useless fools out the door later this year.
Congratulations, Senator McCarthy; here is your opportunity to shine. You have broad experience in all relevant areas and a passion for helping those who are in need. If you can unshackle yourself from the woke chains and get on with the job you could be a celebrated political rock star. Jacinta Price is showing you the way 🙂
