A man was killed in a single vehicle crash near Wadeye that also involved two other adults and a 10-year-old child, NT Police said.
NT Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement that about 5.45pm Friday police received a report of a single vehicle crash about 5km south of Wadeye.
He said there were three adults and a 10-year-old child in the vehicle.
“Wadeye police members and local clinic staff attended, and a 28-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Mr Wilton said.
“The two other adult occupants were conveyed to the community clinic for assessment. The 10-year-old youth was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital as a precaution via Care Flight.”
Mr Wilton said a crime scene was established, and the Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating.
Police said the man was the 58th person to die on Territory roads this year.
