A 50-year-old man who allegedly assaulted a taxi driver in Casuarina last week and suffered head injuries after the driver allegedly fought back has died in hospital, NT Police said.

Police said the incident occurred on Thursday September 5 at around 6:45pm on Bradshaw Terrace.
