NT Police are searching for 44-year-old Brandt Graham, who reportedly escaped G4S security officers at Darwin Local Court Friday morning, with police warning the public not to approach him.

Graham slipped security around 9:50am while in custody of G4S.

Police said in a statement he was last seen on CCTV walking into Tamaris Court in the CBD, but said he “may also have been sighted at Doctors Gully around 10:40am”.

Police said Graham is a Caucasian, approximately 185cm (6 feet, 1 inch) tall with a medium build, long brown hair and a short beard. He also has a tattoo on his left wrist and was last seen in the dark t-shirt in the photo released to the public.

The daily court list shows Graham was to appear on drug charges, receiving stolen property and “possess, use, or carry a prohibited weapon”.

“The public are urged not to approach him and to contact police immediately via 000 if sighted,” police said in the statement.

“Anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to contact police, or to report anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
