Police have arrested a man in Alice Springs and charged him with being an accessory after the fact to murder after the death of a man on Friday.
Serious Crime Squad detectives arrested a 44-year-old Ronald Jungala Martin over the death of the 36-year-old in the suburb of Gillen at around 2.30am.
NT Police spokesman Rob Cross said he was also charged with engaging in violent conduct.
Mr Cross said Martin appeared before the Alice Springs Local Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody to appear in court on September 3, 2020.
A 39-year-old man was charged with murder and engaging in violent conduct, while a 40-year-old was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, incitement to commit a crime, and engaging in violent conduct, over the 36-year-old’s death.
They appeared in local court on Tuesday and have also been remanded in custody to also appear before court on September 3, 2020.
