A man has been killed, and two other pedestrians have been seriously injured, after being hit by cars in two incidents in Darwin, NT Police has said.

Watch commander Sergeant Greg Lamb told the media Friday morning a man and a woman walked out from a Bagot Rd traffic island in Ludmilla, near the Fitzer Drive intersection, into the path of a car just before 7pm Thursday.
