Dear Editor,

The major parties are at cross purposes, while promoting less reliance on fossil fuel but also maintaining a currency reflective of a commodity whose market value will surely decrease as electric vehicle sales increase.

Furthermore, an economy tied to the productive capacity of its population hampered by increasing interest rates implemented to control inflation for a currency with diminishing value, can only end badly. Are the economics professors also silenced along with our doctors?
