Chief Minister Eva Lawler spent another day defending her “idiot” Veterans’ Affairs and Police Minister Brent Potter, casting aspersions on the integrity of everyone in Parliament, after cutting press conferences short on consecutive days amid questions over why he remains in Cabinet after his racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic and misogynistic social media posts were made public.
Ms Lawler left the press conference before answering all journalists’ questions on Monday and Tuesday, but was then greeted at Question Time in Parliament Tuesday afternoon with a steady onslaught of questions about why she has not sacked Mr Potter for his social media posts that were hidden from the public before he was elected at the Fannie Bay by-election in 2022.
Self-serving excuse makers. How have we allowed this group of underachievers who through sheer bloody mindedness and flawed ideology to ruin N.T. You have to question the so-called democratic system that allows them to manipulate and scheme to get their sorry arses back onto the seats of power. .
