Chief Minister Eva Lawler disclosed the location of a Darwin region domestic violence shelter as part of a political photo-op that she publicly distributed in political material, an MLA has alleged, suggesting it could put victims’ lives at risk and calling for the government to pay for increased security at the facility.
Ms Lawler shared a photo of herself with Salvation Army staff at the opening of a new $8.5 million domestic violence shelter last month and then recently distributed that photo taken outside the facility and named the suburb that the shelter is in.
What else could we expect from Labor. In such a panic to advertise herself, no thought for the victims of DV. Pathetic
This Labor government don’t care about harm to others. NT Labor only care about power. Chief Minister Lawler talks about being born in the Territory and her love of the Territory but the only thing she really loves is power. This NT Labor government has done an enormous amount of harm to everyone from Territory school kids to Territory seniors. The harm Chief Minister Lawler has caused can not be fixed here because her government has ruined the NT Health system.
