EXCLUSIVE: Labor MLA Manuel Brown was caught speeding again by police earlier this year, the NT Independent can reveal, after his licence was suspended for three months last October for multiple speeding violations, which comes as questions remain unanswered about Mr Brown allegedly allowing his 14-year-old child to illegally drive a vehicle while his licence was suspended.
Mr Brown was issued at least one additional speeding ticket in February this year, roughly one month after his licence was reinstated following a three-month suspension for racking up 12 demerit points in speeding fines over three years in his taxpayer-funded vehicle following his election to Parliament.
Sack Brown. Having a Drivers Licence is a privilege. Let’s hope no-one else dies with Brown behind the wheel, private or NTG car does not change the behaviour or lack of respect for the position of being an MLA. Words are cheap.
Mt Brown seems like a habitual offender, who has little regard for other people’s lives.
