A group of youths stole car keys from the Alice Springs Local Court building and used them to steal a car which police had described as being driven dangerously around town this week, while at least one occupant threw rocks at police and attempted to ram a police car, sources have told the NT Independent.
The car was one of two NT Police reported in a Tuesday press release that had been stolen and allegedly driven dangerously with occupants throwing rocks at police while a third stolen car’s occupants were alleged to have been throwing rocks at the public.
Surely a curfew, a ban on entering the town, some form of circuit breaker needs to be thrown by the NT Government to curb
the insanity of living in Alice Springs!
It was a lawyers keys from NAAJA, and what’s the bet he will be the same lawyer who represents the kids who stole his car, and help them get no punishment, and back out on the street to do the same to others!
