An investigation ordered by the NT Judicial Commission that cleared Justice Stephen Southwood of malice determined other serious allegations including judicial bullying, breaches of judicial conduct, and unnecessary delays in handing down his decisions were “partially made out” and referred to Chief Justice Michael Grant to be dealt with, but a prominent lawyer who brought the allegations has raised questions about the process.
Darwin lawyer Alistair Wyvill said a proper independent investigation into Justice Southwood would have examined all the allegations together to determine his fitness as a judge and would “lead to the conclusion he is unfit” to continue in the role.

Whilst no fan of Labor, I cannot believe how Delia Lawrie got treated. That could easily happen to anyone including ,say, real estate agents or Pharmacists to name a few.
