Some health workers at every major Northern Territory hospital will walk off the job in protected action tomorrow, seeking better pay and safer conditions under their next enterprise bargaining agreement, their unions have said.
United Workers Union NT secretary Erina Early said up to 1000 workers who are members of her union and the Health Services Union, working at Darwin, Palmerston, Gove, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Alice Springs hospitals would gather outside their facilities at 10am Wednesday to send a message to the Finocchiaro Government.
