The CLP has accused Chief Minister Natasha Fyles of covering up a dangerous and unsafe situation for flood evacuees at the Howard Springs facility, after newly released Budget Estimates data revealed that police investigated 145 incidents at the facility, with 67 of those cases involving domestic violence.
Opposition leader Lia Finocchiaro said that the lives of 90 women and children flood evacuees from three remote communities staying in the Howard Springs facility between March 4 and April 30 had been at risk every single day during that time, with 70 women and 20 children needing to be kept safe at a “safe haven” area set up at the facility.

The most disgusting Government in Territory history!
Fyles was a lack luster teacher and a totally incompetent politician.
