  1. For starters, this took approx 6 seconds to type: ‘is lying in a stat dec a criminal offence nothern territory australia?’ and another 2 or 3 seconds for the web page to arrive.

No need for a law degree, the only requirement is that you can read and understand basic English:

    https://nt.gov.au/law/processes/statutory-declarations

    Statutory declarations

A statutory declaration is a legal document that you sign to state something is true.

Making a false statement in a statutory declaration is against the law, and you can be:

    given a fine

and/or a prison sentence of up to three years.

  2. Keep at discovering the shambles Labor was and the persecution of Rolfe

  3. Just when you thought the NT Governance travelling circus couldn’t get any worse……..it does.

‘Justine Davis, who had questioned what action was being taken against the five lying officers for misleading the court, telling her “if you think someone’s allegedly done something wrong, why don’t you walk over to the DPP and let them know”’

~ the hint was in the question LiaR: “lying officers for misleading the court”and we might add to this: “if you think someone’s allegedly done something wrong, why don’t you walk over to the DPP and let them know”

~what a stupid arrogant thing to say.

~If she is that angry at being taken to task for looking the other way and supporting lying racist Police officers then everybody should keep asking questions about this, clearly it has hit a nerve and is a weak point which should be exploited in public more often.

‘adding that the ICAC had cleared the officers of “illegality”’

~means nothing as the ICAC/Michael ‘Much’ Richer already made his decision in that area when he:

‘instead wrote to the police commissioner advising him that he did not intend to make adverse findings a day after launching the investigation.’

~ the ICAC/Michael ‘Much’ Richer should be sued/investigated for improper conduct for his wilful blindness and his own behaviour which our household calls corruption.

‘the NT Police had referred a brief to the DPP in relation to the lying officers. However, it appeared that brief was premature and did not contain all relevant information’

~ oh gosh! What a terrible, accidental, not at all deliberate administrative error. Oopsie daisy. **embarrassed emoji, roll eyes emoji**

‘“The discrepancy between ICAC’s public statements and the available evidence suggests a significant oversight or intentional misrepresentation,” he wrote.’

    ~our opinion is the latter.

‘that witness’s name was blacked out in the report provided to the media, but it is understood the name is in the report provided to the Chief Minister, the DPP and the Acting Police Commissioner.’

~it’s obvious that LiaR Finocchiaro, her high level executive cronies in NT Government, the DPP, including heaps of SFNT lawyers and her new mates high up in the Police at the very least all know this damning information and much more. We’re sure ICAC has knowledge, which will now include career public servant and author of his secret-not-secret review in order to keep corrupt people’s names a secret, Greg Shanahan as well. It is possible that she discusses these things with her ex-NT Government lawyer husband Sam Burke, her father in law previous CLP CM Denis Burke and her campaign strategist previous CLP CM Shane Stone.

~Just consider that for a moment…….How many people in positions of power in the Northern Territory must know who that witness is?

~By their silence, this means that all of them are conspiring to keep that from the public, a reasonable conclusion being that they all support this person, this cover up and this behaviour.

~Which makes our household wonder what else they are keeping from the public?

‘“The ICAC has concluded that there is no admissible evidence of misconduct by the five named police officers that would warrant further investigation or potential charges,” he said.’

~see previous points above. It’s easy not to find things that you already told someone you wouldn’t be looking for.

‘Ms Kelly said she had found evidence that “tended to contradict” the officers’ statements, but did not think pursuing the matter was worthwhile, incorrectly claiming the racism ended in 2015.’

    ~Not worthwhile!!!
To us it looks like Ms Kelly is enabling and colluding in the cover up stating something like that!

    ”tended to contradict”

~Either specific evidence contradicts specific statements or it doesn’t Ms Kelly. Which one is it?

‘DPP Lloyd Babb did not respond to requests for comment.’

    ~no surprise.

‘Mr Rolfe recommended in his report that the DPP or other relevant authorities now conduct a proper investigation that “fully explores all available leads and evidence highlighted within this report”, including speaking to key witnesses “who have been previously overlooked or ignored”.’

~this highlights the need for 2 things:

A complete purge of NT politicians in general and anyone in Northern Territory Government connected in any way to these kinds of lies, cover ups and culturally ingrained workplace behaviours.

For outside bodies with no connections to anyone in the NT to investigate. The NT is incapable of investigating itself in any way, shape or form and yes we include some of the judiciary in that based on past opinions and decisions and openly stated friendships with entrenched career NT public servants.

‘“The integrity of the Northern Territory Police Force, the Northern Territory Director of Public Prosecutions, and by extension, public confidence in policing and justice unequivocally demands thorough, transparent, and independent investigative action,” he wrote.’

~Unfortunately those agencies and depts, as well as others, have no integrity left. The ALP did similarly for years and now the CLP is showing us all: they don’t value integrity at all. Not even for themselves.

~Leadership is the key driver of workplace culture and behaviour. Whatever the leader shows by example what is acceptable, then the workers under him/him follow. This is the expected words and behaviours when your ‘Leader’ is doing the same.

~This stinking cesspool of LiaRs and various Government supported cover up aficionados are all we have at this present time from both of the 2 main parties. But we believe that will Change For Better at the next election. Desire and momentum is building.

~And finally, a word from our esteemed Attorney-General Marie-Claire Boothy on the subject of potential corruption and cover ups:

“Our pockets were full of deng, so there was no real need from the point of view of crasting any more pretty polly to tolchock some old veck in an alley and viddy him swim in his blood while we counted the takings and divided by four, nor to do the ultra-violent on some shivering starry grey-haired ptitsa in a shop and go smecking off with the till’s guts.”

    • Whatever your politics, You have to hand it to the Independents, they are slaying the Government!

  4. The fox is in the chook house and there will be plenty of action to follow.

  5. l bet the police hierarchy wish they had never decided to help Gunner stitch up Zach and one has to wonder why we are still paying the buffoon Riches?. L have always said Zach would be a great Police commissioner, now it appears he would also make a great ICAC.

  6. Clown Town Full Activation Warp Speed Mode is on!

The dodgy ass mates club called the NT Police, the highly questionable DPP and whatever words in the English language can describe what NTICAC is, they all cannot investigate anything, leave a lone each other.
They are tainted, the corruption is at full capacity and the NT’s fearless leader is in Hawaii.
    May I suggest,
-the CLP keep in tradition and roll the Chief Minister when she is overseas?
-Hire interstate investigators to investigate the mates clubs that is the NT Justice system.

    • If you fall into the trap of believing ICAC is meant to identify and punish corrupt people doing corrupt things:

      Insipid
      Commissioner
      Assisting
      Corruption
      ?

      Ineffectual
      Commissioner
      Advancing
      Corruption
      ?

      Incompetent
      Commissioner
      Abetting
      Corruption
      ?

The reality is: NT ICAC is a full blown SHAMahan. Purposefully. It’s not meant to function properly.

ALP asked Greg Shamahan to do a secret review in which he dutifully recommended hiding names of people found to be corrupt from the public (the political upper class and their mates all get to know those names however, that super sacred information is not for us dirty, lower class people).

CLP, after this was submitted to Parliament, then gifted him the ICAC Commissioner job with the half a million dollar pay package. He’ll be salary sacrificing (tax reduced) more than most of you earn gross in a year.

BOTH PARTIES then voted his recommendations into law, including the one to hide those names. It’s still law.

Have you heard anyone in Parliament screaming and shouting for the ICAC Act to be changed back to what it was before long time career public servant Greg Shamahan got his ‘aiding and abetting’ NT Government hands on it?

      Nah, didn’t think so.

  7. Shut your eyes and you will walk into trouble.

  8. Being an ex-Queenslander and seeing firsthand the damage caused by Three Crooked Kings (Cops) as recorded by Matthew Condon 4 books (I believe he wrote a 5th one) that I have on the matter I feel history is repeating itself although, I hope without the drugs murder (including children) and fire bombings. Can someone please find Mr. Fitzgerald or someone as good as him to hold an honest and full inquiry.
