No doubt there are people in Government wondering why Territorians have had a gutfull.of the lack of meaningful action by our noble elected representatives over the law and order issues that plague this place.
I suppose pocketing 250K+ per annum, plus perks, plus roughly $60 – $120K in discretionary (non-accountable) expenses would provide a suitable buffer from the daily travails of the average punter.
And some people wonder why there are right-leaning fringe groups who feel that Government no longer represents the will of the people.
(As an aside, I don’t belong to one, my politics are very much in the centre on most issues. I’m simply making an observation.)
And we thought all was lost under Gunner. With failed Fyles we are certain there is no hope for civilized law-abiding people in this place.
