Police used a fire truck’s telescopic boom platform to arrest a man who had climbed onto the roof of a two-storey unit complex Friday morning where he threw rocks at police after allegedly assaulting someone, NT Police said.

Territory Duty Superintendent Rob Engels said that about 7:30am Friday, Fugitive Task Force members went to an apartment block on Gribbon Place in Malak to arrest a man in relation to an alleged aggravated assault.
