The Federal Labor Government has announced $24 million for essential infrastructure and community facilities across the NT in another pre-election goody for the Territory.
Regional Development and Infrastructure Minister Catherin King made the announcement in Katherine on Thursday morning, pledging the funds for communities in the vast seat of Lingiari.
Not much bang for the political buck in the NT. Only 2 lower house seats and the Senate is effectively predetermined.
