Darwin’s Fannie Bay shopping centre has been sold to the Lay family for $17.8 million after being held by Territory investor Terry Finocchiaro for more than four decades.

The sale of the inner-suburban shopping centre, which houses the Cool Spot, Super Pizza and the Fannie Bay supermarket among other tenants, comes after Mr Finocchiaro sold the Officeworks in Stuart Park and the Winnellie Central complex in 2021.
