Chief Minister Eva Lawler has unveiled her Cabinet team after being sworn in on Thursday afternoon, that will see minor changes and a new minister, marking the second reshuffle in as many months for the Territory Labor Government, just eight months out from August’s general election.
Ms Lawler staved off leadership tilts from former deputy chief minister Nicole Manison and the union-backed Joel Bowden to become the Territory’s third chief minister in 19 months.
When she said “We are absolutely a good government and will continue to be a good government,” no one burst out laughing? No yelled out “Bullsh@t” ? Seriously. Come on.
Hardly a believable statement after the TIO stadium fiasco and all the laws that were changed to kill court cases against her. Hardly a good reputation to base her claims of good government.
Well she got one thing right when she said people don’t like Politicians.
Pretty hopeless line up overall.
