An employee of a Palmerston business has been charged with gross indecency for an alleged assault of a customer, NT Police said.
NT Police director of communication Mark Wilton said in a statement the 23-year-old man had been charged with gross indecency without consent after the incident at a business in Palmerston.
He said the alleged adult male victim went into the unnamed business on November 17, and was allegedly indecently assaulted by an employee.
“The victim made a report to police and an investigation was commenced by the Sex Crimes Unit,” Mr Wilton said.
Police said detectives arrested the 23-year-old man on Wednesday, and he was granted bail to appear at Darwin Local Court on Thursday.
