  1. That land is was an air gunnery and bombing range during WWII.
    The goudlian finches was a first line of argument when that failed , amazingly its a Sacred Site that the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority ( established in 1989) never heard of?

    After the RSL debacle (“where Larrakia Nation elder Bilawara Lee had informed the Mayor the land was of cultural significance to traditional owners and then that argument disappeared at no cost to the Mayor or Bilawara Lee “) ,There is a perception that any indigenous person can declare a sacred site that the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority doesn’t know about!
    That perception better get addressed or the NT will have a reputation as “too Hard basket” for DHA!
    800 house development is music to the ears of people paying premium for houses and rent right now!
