Everything I have seen so far seems to be a witch hunt on the attitudes of police lower ranks. There seems to have been nobody in control of the situation on site in Yuendumu. The station sergeant seems to have removed herself from controlling anything after her partner was threatened with an axe. How is it that an officer in a remote police station can be in a relationship with a lower ranking officer?
