The current CLP Cabinet cannot organize a picnic in a brothel! Based on local media articles you would think their still thinking they are in opposition.
Hard decisions are to be made not more photos of the unsightly ministers faces.
I understand those MLA’s attend several events a day. Ill rephrase that: “those MLA’s attend several events a day, usually a NTG funded NGO, to get their photos taken and if their lucky, get in the bought off media”!
It is fantastic that CLP took the time out of their day to celebrate whatever “Wear Purple Day” is ,Once i find out what that is , they need to be congratulated. However, i hope they take some time to think about and address: -crime is out of control, -houses being broken into, -cars being stolen, -What exactly are the 28000 highly remunerated public servants( who are correlated to the $11 billion in government debt) doing exactly. I can tell you theirs a Nurse, Police, Doctor, Teacher shortage so how many non front line public servants do we have? -one empty $250 million University building -many empty University buildings -a totally full jail –
Finally I understand first hand that the current CLP MLA’s will be focusing on getting their Federal team mate elected for the next four weeks. I hope all political door knockers get a hostile reception.
Am a CLP voter who do not drink the Kool Aid. Voted for CLP and was delivered a sh!t sandwich!
Just to be clear: The ALP have destroyed the Territory, that debt will never be paid back, the ALP should never ever be allowed to even think of running again… but I was hoping for a CLP government that could actually be better than the last ALP circus.
Good morning, Well lve been waiting, as have others, for this story to be told. Part of a series, each story more putrid than the other with the resultant outcomes nothing less than a complete contempt and disrespect for Territorians! That famous quote, apparently a misattribution to Albert Einstein, from novelist Rita Mae Brown “ “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”! This rings so true with the merry go round of governance changing between Labor and CLP! I’m guessing Sam Burke with his full time position plus board member roles may see income that surpasses $5-600000 a year all from the public purse and Lia with her income, from my viewpoint may place this couple on close to or exceeding $1000000 a year from the public purse. THAT FAMOUS EVA LAWLER OUTBURST IN Parliament OVER A ORICEY CHAMPAGNE NOW COMES TO MY MIND! Does Sam Burke now or recently shared board membership roles with Andrew Kirkman- if so how many, one may ask! This federal election is a real chance for Territorians to do “ the opposite” with a solid yes vote for a strong committed NT focussed One Nation senate candidate- Darren Nugent! My focus is to teach these people some manners and as your conduit for a better NT show you “ l work for you! Have a great weekend and don’t expect Boothby, Lia, the current seated quiet CLP MLA’s to do anything about this article- just sit back and wait to be fed more BS
Section 5F (1) of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act (NT) states “a public sector office must do the following: (a) carry out the officer’s duties as follows (i) objectively, impartially, professionally and with integrity.
Section 5F (d) of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act (NT) states “avoid actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal or other interests and duties as a public sector officer.
Former NT Commissioner for Public Employment Mr Graham Symons on 14 December 2011 in a former Employment Instruction Number 12 – Code of Conduct – in Number 7.1 – states pursuant to section 16 of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act (NT) [PSEMA] states –
“7.1. In order to maintain public confidence in the integrity of the Northern Territory Public Sector, a Public Sector Officer must exhibit and be seen to exhibit the highest ethical standards in carrying out his or her duties, and must pursue, and be seen to pursue, the best interests of the people of the Northern Territory”.
Remember that time Lia gave a $2.5M golden handshake to the sacked Police Commissioner? Me neither. Allow her time to follow the process and then let’s see what happens.

The CLP wouldn’t want to come door knocking around Coconut Grove after they cancelled the undergrounding of our power. I’ll be voting Independent.
