The CLP moved to condemn Labor MLA Chansey Paech in Parliament Thursday for criticising the government over the death of Kumanjayi Little Baby, following the release of a report into the department’s handling of the case, while Labor accused the Children and Families Minister of leaking sensitive information to a favoured media outlet that could cause issues for the upcoming murder trial.

Mr Paech’s comments were reported by Channel Nine and The Guardian Tuesday, which followed the public release of the Webb-Shanahan report that examined the Department of Children and Families’ handling of the case of Kumanjayi Little Baby and the events that led up to her abduction and alleged murder.

  1. The important missed fact that Paech was the former Minister of Childrens and Families and the ALP for 8 years made it into what it is today! Dysfunctional!

Worked at the Childrens and Families , would never go back, would never reccommend anyone to work there! The deadwood managers are useless and cause the staff to quit abruptly, which suits their agendas and enforces their delicate job security!
I salute the CLP’s “System Reset” of that Labor Electorate, i mean, Department.

    • DCF was dysfunctional way before Chansey…
