The Finocchiaro CLP Government will spend more than $8 million to build a motocross track at Hidden Valley, despite the project’s cost blowing out to five times the original estimate provided by Labor, stating it could not end a contract out of fear of “wasting millions”, so will “redirect” $6.5 million to fully fund the project.
Despite claiming the $6.5 million was coming from a previously undisclosed National Basketball League “deal”, it remains unclear what actual money is being used for the new track.

High School Educated Labor Ministers may have taken it from $1.6 Billion to $11 Billion with bugger all to show for it, but the CLP are in charge of managing that debt now.
