Four teens assaulted staff at a Fannie Bay dental clinic shortly after chroming in a nearby cafe, the owner of the practice has said, in a violent attack which was followed the next day by three teens assaulting two women in Darwin city, leading to calls from the business community for more police on the streets.
Darwin Smiles owner Gus Diaz said the teens – two boys and two girls – whose exact ages he did not know, entered his practice on Monday morning and assaulted staff, sending one to the emergency department, but said officers had told his staff there would probably be no action taken against the youths.
Only a matter of time before one of these feral teens is killed by a victim of their violent crimes.
This is entirely the fault of the NT Government. They’ve been warned so many times what will happen because of their soft on crime policies that I can only believe that they want this crime and lawlessness to happen and to continue to grow. There is no other rational explanation.
Just more reviews without ever resolving anything. The problems are obvious and need to be addressed without the usual Labor delays and poor outcomes.
