Charles Darwin University has missed out on funding to train 40 medical students in a proposed new medical school which was announced in November 2021, but has instead been given $2.8 million by the federal government to seek the accreditation required to establish the medical school.
CDU had formed an alliance with Menzies School of Health and Western Sydney University for the proposed CDU Menzies School of Medicine, and it was wanting to begin training 40 medical students next year using $21.8m in federal funding.
“CDU did not issue a media release about the funding”…disaster or any mention of the several explosions it has endured over this very busy year as it keeps pumping out low grade International Student graduates who are here solely to get a Permanent Residency Visa.
Admin at CDU is as dodgy as the government, both territory and federal….
Lots going on there that doesn’t happen in ‘normal’ workplaces – overpaid staff, junkets all over the world at taxpayer expense…. likely very much more going on that should be investigated and reported….😠
One could question quality, I have interviewed a number of their graduates. ‘Talk is cheap’
Oh yeah and Australian English should be understood by an University Graduate.
