Does the dodgy Business As Usual, Great Territory Lifestyle (and other associated corruption) get a day off in the NT?
What the Police Executive are under investigation?
Let me Guess, is this about the usual rort of Free Housing For Sworn Members RORT whilst all the multiple Territory properties go into the wifes name?
For the “entire NT Police top brass to be under investigation by an AFP Assistant Commissioner . . . . . . ” ? ? ?
Surely, some space for a similar action, focussing upon NT Govt via the Federal Government???
Rancid, or rancidity, seems to have taken hold around our Nation?
Our Nation on the cusp of global challenges greater than immediately, prior to W.W.2? Crime is a challenge. But if left unchallenged . . . it becomes corrosive beyond survivability? Speak up. Speak out. Or accept inevitability?
Our Northern, once paradise, Territory. Has entered an anarchical period. Yes, ANARCHY!
Failed governance – Senior Police leadership failure – loss of civil control – lack of civil awareness – financial limitations – Public Service leadership accountability – PUBLIC SAFETY.
NTPA President Nathan Finn has spoken decisively with courage and conviction on behalf of his members about critical issues confronting Police in their work place. In addition to the grave concerns he has articulated about the well-being of our Territory Police, the competence and integrity of the Police Executive have now been called into question. Territorians know Police put their personal safety on the line every day to serve and protect the community – but public trust in the Police Executive “team” has been eroded to the point the NTG has a full blown political crisis on its hands. Is Reece Kershaw being paid to hold the Commissioner’s hand (provide informal advice) and if so what are the details? Our NT Police deserve to be properly led and the question for the government is “why aren’t they?”
