A 13-year-old has been charged for allegedly being one of a group of six youths who used rocks to hit the front sliding doors of a Katherine service station and then pushed the doors off the rails, before stealing some items, NT Police said.
Detective Senior Sergeant Michael Ordelman said in a statement that just before midnight on Saturday the six youths allegedly smashed their way into the service station along Katherine Terrace, using rocks to target the front sliding doors, before pushing them off the rails and stealing an unspecified number of small items.
