A dangerous driving incident that saw a man allegedly flee police while high on methamphetamine ended when the NT Police, assisted by its drone unit, apprehended the 33-year-old man in Alice Springs late last night.

Police reported that around 10:45 pm, officers involved in Operation Ludlow attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a silver Mitsubishi Lancer on Memorial Avenue in Gillen as part of a roadside breath testing operation. The driver did not comply, and a pursuit ensued.
