Alleged Hells Angels associates charged over drugs and guns after raids: police

Two alleged Hells Angels motor cycle gang associates have been arrested, with raids leading to alleged seizures of unlicensed weapons and ammunition, as well as drugs, NT Police have said.

Police media manager Rob Cross said in a statement on Thursday, working as part of National Task Force Morpheus, NT Drugs and Organised Crime Division members executed warrants at multiple Darwin rural area properties on Wednesday.

He alleged they found a variety of unlicensed weapons, ammunition and drugs but gave not further details.

Mr Cross said the warrants follow on from Operation Otto conducted by the Gangs Task Force in June targeting outlaw motor cycle gangs in the Northern Territory.

The two men were arrested and charged with supplying a commercial quantity of a Schedule 1 dangerous drug, possession of a Schedule 2 dangerous drug, possession of unlicensed firearms, and possession of unlicensed ammunition .

They were remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Mr Cross said 2 8 search warrants and gang disruption activities were carried out yesterday under Task Force Morpheus.
