There were only two people involved in the alleged domestic violence issue: Michael and Jen Riches. McClintock speaks to only one of them, who, coincidentally, is McClintock’s boss, and makes the determination, “Nothing to see here, folks.”. How ridiculous is that for an “investigation”. As I’ve said before, there is no degree of incompetence to account for this appalling pretence of an investigation. This is blatant corruption masquerading as a corruption watchdog. De-fund the ICAC scam today.
Is there a single area of the NT Government bureaucracy performing credibly, including local government? Having worked in private enterprise for my entire life apart from six months with DCC (in 1984), where I spent half of my working time defending my appointment, hence hamstrung in my abilities to perform my duties, I cannot see any KPIs being met or even applied. Maybe it is time that we subcontract the whole system to a competent private enterprise(s) in a tender written by private enterprise.
How is it possible that anywhere in the public service be understaffed, (perhaps apart from the police force – and this is because of poor government but that’s a different story!!)
In summary Lawler has no idea!
Just another joke of how the Territory is run by “experts”.
Transparent about a lack of transparency, they treat tax-payers like fool.
