Territorians voted for the current idiots to replace the previous idiots they voted for in 2016!
Look at the calibre of these people!
-Labor fielded School teachers and union hacks led by a totally qualified Big W Shelf Stacker!!
-The CLP have hairdressers (Dept Education), Receptionists (Attorney General), Zero qualifications (Treasury!!) and a whole bunch of unimpressive MLA’s who will not survive the next election.
Am looking forward to vote in a alternative Political Party to clean the place up!
On its way Pippa H, feel free to sign up now:

Also, regarding who knew what when:
Boothby knew all about her close family’s racist and horrible text messages when she decided to change the Anti-Discrimination Act in March this year.
Which part did she remove?
The part which makes it unlawful to be racist and horrible to others based on their race…..exactly what her family did after running over and killing an Aboriginal man and injuring his friend.
Funny coincidence that, eh?
We wonder which other legislation has been deliberately changed to protect family members of Ministers?
To The angel on Jim Jefferies’ left shoulder, I do hope that your new political movement will use some sort of “vetting” process in the selection of candidates, to make sure we don’t end up with more embarrassingly uneducated and ignorant politicians. The current crop of CLP MLAs are terrifying with respect to their non-existent critical thinking skills.
‘Pippa H’ and yourself get it, Megan.
There is a growing number of other regular commenters on here who get it too.
Hopefully you’ll all join us!
…
We believe there are many people out there who share your views and concerns and would love to support a Movement and Party with real values but have never been given the option before.
The whole NT political system (and many others outside of the NT) suffers from a perennial problem of ‘bait and switch’.
Say one thing during campaigning (bait) or even while you’re in Opposition – think of all the empty buzzwords like ‘transparency’ and ‘accountability’ and ‘responsibility’ blah blah blah that now have no meaning because of their overuse;
then do the complete opposite once you get into power on those false promises (switch). Without consequences.
…
The current system also suffers from a skewed underlying voting system which favours unfettered majority rule – we are living through both of these problems right now.
Those parts of the System are working well for those who like to abuse it: CLPALP Alliance.
They are not working well for all the rest of us.
…
So why would those who abuse it and benefit from it, want to Change it? They don’t. This is why you never hear any of them talking about Changing the fact that there are no consequences for lying on the campaign trail, only a Change in Government every 4 years to try to claw back any redress from that but by that time everyone has forgotten.
One of the main questions then becomes: how do we Change this Rigged Game into something more equitable and fair, into something more representative of a majority of the people, not just those who shout the loudest?
…
Political Will vs Political Won’t.
You rightly flagged that getting the right kind of people in at the beginning is key, otherwise you are just another bunch of clueless lying muppets clamouring for power in our small NT pond and the benefits and big bucks that comes from being an MLA.
You can have the best message and promises in the world but if you have the wrong people trying to sell it then you’ll end up losing that battle in our opinion.
…
Also remember that a Party like ours is going to upset a lot of people. If you do a proper clean out of Government for example then many entrenched long term public servants and all their mates and connections who benefit from them being in powerful positions and jobs will lose all that.
So we’re expecting a lot of pushback against our ideas and our people once this starts to gain a foothold.
Bring it on!
…
Our friends don’t have any of those ‘old skool’ Darwin/NT connections that many people in Government have.
They are completely free from that kind of corrupt complicity.
Their only desire is to clean out this cesspool and deliver it back, shiny and new and working, to the people, for the people.
The Greg Shamahans and Alastair Shields From The Publics of this corrupt little NT world will be gone. Bye bye.
There’s a reason you don’t hear any of this kind of language from the ALP either. They’re in on The Rigged Game. They don’t want it to Change For Better.
…
NO MORE:
changing legislation to protect your family members;
jobs for meritless mates;
multiple Board positions for you and your extended family members;
cronyism;
fraud;
ignoring racism;
ignoring unlawful behaviour in Government ranks;
unsupported whistleblowers;
expensive and time consuming Freedom Of Information processes;
secrecy;
corruption;
bullying
….we’re sure you can add another 20 things off the top of your head that the CLPALP Alliance have been doing to the detriment of the NT Political System and for their own personal benefit.
The time for Change For Better everything, is here.
Let’s not waste it.
Double Standards. I was dismissed from my job role by 2016 ALP PH L5 CM Michael Gunner Chief of Staff Alf Leonardi on 17/11/2016 @ 8:30pm for an article the Editor Matt Williams 2016 NT News was ‘planning to publish to cancel my life’ the next day 18/11/2016. Talk about minority report, frightening. The NTG ALP & CLP politicians, judiciary and police are networked and collude to manipulate community information through legacy media paid establishment.
My crime was alleging 2015/16 Darwin Waterfront Corporation (DWC) bullying & money laundering through the body corporate Sterling Management Services. Never trust NT lawyers, Silly of me, I’d just relocated from Sydney.
