The Federal Labor Government’s $2 billion social housing funding pledge will see the NT receive $50 million to continue to address a public housing shortage in urban and remote areas – which ranks among the smallest total of the funding in the country – despite the NT’s high homeless rate.

The Albanese Government’s $2 billion social housing accelerator fund was announced over the weekend and is aimed at providing states and territories more cash to accelerate the delivery of new homes across the country.
