A Territory woman who was driving an uninsured car while seven times over the legal blood alcohol limit has been charged after smashing into a truck on a Malak street while trying to reverse her car on Monday evening, police said.
The 38-year-old was reportedly attempting to reverse her Suzuki Swift when she struck a Nissan Navara on Matthews Road in Malak around 7:35pm Monday evening. It appears the truck was parked at the time.
Must have been the evening for it. A small sedan clipped the rear end of a low loader trailer in Katherine yesterday and successfully peeled the skin of a left side door. Police and ambulance were in attendance.
