A 20-year-old woman was killed, and a man and four children were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital, after a single vehicle crash near a remote community on Friday.
NT government crime marketing manager Sita Bacher said in a statement a Toyota LandCruiser the two adults and four children were in, rolled over about 6km from Numbulwar on Numbulwar Rd about 2.30pm Friday.
Police said the car had been driving towards Ngukkur and NT Police officers and staff from the Numbulwar health clinic went to the scene.
Mr Bacher said the woman, who was driving, was declared dead at the scene, while a male passenger and four kids were initially taken to the health clinic before being flown to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
Police did not say if the group were related and did not give any health condition information for man and the children.
