A woman died following a two-car collision in Winnellie on Sunday evening, making her the second person to be killed on Territory roads on the same day, NT Police said.

Police director of communications Mark Wilton said in a statement that about 5:45pm Sunday, police were told about the collision between a sedan and a Landcruiser at the intersection of Coonawarra Road and Bombing Road, Winnellie.
