A woman was taken to hospital with superficial wounds after being kicked, and punched, and cut with broken glass, while her attackers have not be found, NT Police said.
Northern Watch Commander Tanya Woodcock told the NT News police were called to a block of units in Coconut Grove shortly after midnight Tuesday.
Sergeant Woodcock said security guards found the victim there she was punched and kicked, and cut with broken glass, and St John Ambulance took her to hospital in a stable condition with “superficial wounds”, the paper reported.
She said pol.ice believed it could be a domestic violence assault but the victim had not yet given a formal complaint.
“We have not made arrests yet and there’s no reason to believe that the suspects in this will be assaulting or a danger to anyone else,” the paper quoted Sergeant Woodcock as saying.
