Police are searching for the driver of a green Mitsubishi Pajero who allegedly drove the vehicle at a man and a woman at a service station on McMillians Road Thursday night, striking the woman and colliding with an ice machine, NT Police said.

It is alleged the green Pajero was driven at the man, 31, and the woman, 30, around 7:25pm before hitting the woman and the ice machine and fleeing the scene.

“The woman received non-life-threatening injuries and was treated by St John Ambulance at the scene,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Malogorski.

“The driver of the vehicle remains outstanding and it is believed they were known to the victims.”

Police are asking nay witnesses to the incident to contact police on 131 444 of Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, quoting reference number 10130932.
