The Waterfront lagoon is surrounded by licensed venues and has a blow up fun park acting as a drunk magnet in the middle of the water.
The Darwin Waterfront Corporation (DWC) promotes the consumption of alcohol next to water with its Beach Club which is about to become larger and permanent.
How many more drownings will there be at the Waterfront before DWC is held accountable for ignoring its own policies?
Why does every pool and spa in the NT have to be fenced but DWC can sell grog next to a large body of unfenced water?
