Colleen Gwynne, who was charged with abuse of office in a case that was thrown out of court earlier this year, has officially resigned as the NT Children’s Commissioner, Deputy Chief Minister Nicole Manison said in a statement Tuesday morning, “to remain interstate and explore other opportunities”.
The NT Independent understands the resignation was signed after an undisclosed payout to Ms Gwynne for the botched attempt to prosecute her.
