The Vice Chancellor is a walking contradiction. Grossly overpaid as his remuneration doesn’t include the massive amount of free travel and other extras he receives. CDU haven’t had a decent VC for decades. They all blow in and restructure the place, turn it on its head and reward the laziest staff who suck up to them. One will centralize admin, the next will then decentalize and allow the worst people to make the decision about most important issues there, always wasting money. It’s a terribly dysfunctional place.
