Haven’t done so well under your dubious leadership. But let’s blame the staff. financial crisis, lack of funding, etc. Whilst you believe that your Political Commentary is the key to your success. Sorry, but a University has no right, as an Educational Institution, to support any political views. Yet you decided to back The Voice. Now you and your staff believe that you have the right to comment on CLP Leadership. WRONG. You are there to teach FACTS not opinions. Unfortunately educators now believe that their opinions are more important than fact which drives a wedge into every family that does not support the Woke ideaologies. What about you get back to teaching facts and allow your students to think for themselves? It seems that opinions have become ‘Current Day Education’ Make Henry Gray the Vice-Chancellor and the CDU would be more than viable.
Would it be cheaper for the University if the VC employed his whole family? Perhaps this is behind the thinking of this very wise, well educated, man of letters. However, some in the Territory would regard his attempts at explanation and justification as ‘pretty insulting’!
As Paul Kelly has written in The Australian recently – Progressive activists took charge, while established leaders were weak and ignorant. When people look across the landscape – universities, bureaucracies, cultural bodies, corporates, government departments – they see progressive values, great and small, shoved in their faces. It’s not the democracy they voted for. There is no better example of such on-going leadership failure than CDU. Forced change must be not far away – thank goodness!
