Urban Rampage says it will appeal the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s decision to permanently ban its stores from selling goods on credit using Centrepay.

Coral Coast Distributors (Cairns) Pty Ltd, trading as Urban Rampage said it was exploring a legal challenge under the Racial Discrimination Act of 1975, to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). It follows ASIC converting the company’s Centrepay suspension, announced in February, into a permanent ban.
