Uber will launch its ride services in Alice Springs in late 2026, the company has announced, recruiting local drivers and offering sign-up bonuses that will see transportation options expanded in Central Australia.

The NT Government said it supports Uber’s upcoming rideshare launch in Alice Springs that it said will provide locals and visitors with more transportation options that would meet a growing demand.
